Reflective Technologies Incorporated. was formed in 1993 to
develop the need for enhanced visibility and safety products
for outdoor enthusiasts, they succeeded in developing the next
generation of safety products. The patented technology developed
was a reflective coating called illumiNITE™.
illumiNITE™ is the next generation of high technology,
safety-enhancing* reflective fabric. illumiNITE™ is the
first, patented process on the market that treats the entire
surface of fabric with a reflective coating that is highly fashionable
during the daytime, yet creates a 'Humanly visible' reflective
silhouette image of the wearer at dawn, dusk or night.
On 1st March, Reflec PLC acquired the assets of Reflective Technologies
Incorporated. The renamed business Reflec (USA) now seeks to
market and distribute their combined portfolio of reflective
products.
Today,
Reflec (USA) develops and manufactures safety-enhancing retro-reflective
fabrics for active wear, outerwear, and industrial markets.
The goal of Reflec (USA) is to develop safety-enhancing* reflective
products, incorporating illumiNITE™ fabrics, whilst making
them affordable to consumers who participate in dawn, dusk
and night-time activities.

While illumiNITE™ technology will enhance the visibility
of the wearer, it is not meant to be a substitute for normal
safety precautions which should be practiced by the wearer
at all times to ensure personal safety.
